About

Who?

I am Jurriaan Mous and currently 29 years old. You can best describe me as a holistic thinker with a technological human centered mindset. I like to throw myself into new settings and see what drives people.

I am a big proponent of new social networked types of organizations that are not hierarchical organized and try to find the technology but also mindchangers to make this possible. To create a kind of group-awareness. I am particularly interested in the interaction and ambient intelligence.

I love to explore & connect and to share what I find. I regard myself as an Utopian Entrepreneur.

I currently work at Lable which I co-founded with Martin, Michiel and Riekus. We try to reinvent the company with a more bottom-up cell-like structure and try to look at the problems of society. While we did business with different sectors like educations, financial institutions, we are now focussing on the healthcare sector. A sector where everything is about people and where the IT currently does not fit the people centered approach. The people centered approach inspires us for completely new interfaces and whole new ways of connecting the digital with the analog world.

What?

This is a blog about Experience/Interaction Design, creativity, multimedia, philosophy, presenting, theatre, dancing etc. All written down from my perspective.

Why?

I am always full of ideas and wanted a platform to vent them. It became this weblog which is meant as a building platform for structuring ideas and theories. I also want to share my ideas with the world to get feedback.

When?

I post whenever I have the inspiration to post something. I would like to post at least once per week but I can’t guarantee anything in busy or uninspired blogging-weeks/months/years.

How?
