Do you believe in us?
We live in changing times. In times of fear and doubt, in times of reevaluating some of our core values. Many people begin to doubt their believes or begin to fanatically defend their believes and disconnect people with other believes. The day is determined by mostly irrelevant hypes and not on the more serious problems and building long time solutions. It is all about black and white and you have to decide on which side you are. There is no time for discussion. You have to choose constantly or be out of the loop.
In changing times it is time for new structures and new believes. I want to propose a new religion, a new hope. One that is based on coorperation, openness, discussion, inspiration, variation, ideas and the power of every individual. It is not ment to compete with other religions but it is meant to build a bridge between all people of all kinds of believes. I think it is necessary in times were people only search people of their own kind and their own believe.
I call this new religion: us (united spirits)
- Us is everybody, no matter what kind of believe
- Us respects everybody and everything they believe
- Us believes in openness
- Us believes in sharing
- Us believes in variation
- Us believes in creativity
- Us believes in inspiration
Us believes in the power that comes out of those elements. People combined form ideas that can get to incredible heights that those people could never do on their own. People can together do enormous things like crossing the seas, building huge structures and reaching the moon and even mars. These are accomplished by inspiration and visions and us believes in bringing people together to create and accomplish those visions.
- Us does not believe in them/others/I/you
- Us does not believe in categorizing/stereotyping
- Us does not believe in giving certain groups advantages or outcast other groups.
- Us values every possible idea but believes only in the ideas that bring us as a whole to a higher level.
Us can already be seen in many kinds of sharing that happens on the internet like wikis, open source software, myspace, flickr etc. The internet creates a new kind of civilisation that does not seem to be as materialistic as with capitalism. Us is all about this movement but tries to translate it to everything.
Us is all about one thing: Creating inspiration, vision and goals. To bring us to a higher plane! To let everybody share ideas and tries to give everybody a religious experience, the wow!

You present some wonderful ideas here. The internet is a hving a huge impact on humanity. It is making us rememeber we ARE human. We are compassionate when born and are only taught how to:

The above things we learn very early on.
The us religion beleives in emotional, intinctual and human values. All these things we are born understanding but are taught to control and fit into the norm. But the sad thing is there is no normal. Normal is an idea. None of us fit into that mold. Even the ones who beleive they do don’t. You take away all the material wealth and what you are left with is a beautiful human being.
The internet is paving the way to disintegrate the I/you and categorizing/stereotyping. Blogging is the beginning of us.
