The WOW Factor
I have one passion: To experience the WOW! It is something uncontrollable. It is something unpredictable. It is best described as a mental orgasm. A state of mind that takes you over.
I seek it and try to understand it. Try to control it. Try to find what triggers it.
There are several things that can trigger it:
- Good stories (books, movies, series, plays)
- Good music, especially when it builds to a climax. Good DJs can control this. (I like to dance and lose myself.)
- Good Art (finding new frontiers)
- New insights into knowledge you seek out.
- Big environments
- Love
It is emotion + experience. It is something holistic. (the whole is bigger than its parts) It is a sensory and brain overload. A moment that brings you to a new level of consciousness.
Well, out of this passion for the WOW became my passion of the experience design. I will try to find the golden formula.
